ABOUT THE PAINTINGS

I usually work with acrylic paints on canvas. I prefer to use bright, bold colors and flat, graphic shapes in my work. I use line to emphasize the shapes and the original drawing within the painting. My use of decoration and pattern is inspired by an interest in Paleolithic, Native American, and ancient Celtic art. Themes for the paintings are derived from dreams, the UFO phenomenon, popular culture, and my life experiences.
